Today has been an extremely long as stressful day. Let's just say I absolutely hate the research process for research projects. I'm doing one in composition and I had to scour over like 15 literary analysis encyclopedias looking for a particular short story criticism. It was hell because only 3 of those books actually had a small portion of content that may be useful to me. -sigh- I still need to find 3 more database sources so I'll need to get up extra early to do that. RAWR.
I'm not ready to put up graphics/resource updates yet because I haven't had time with everything going on. So I'll just give a few important updates about my forum LIGHTS. Starting in November there is going to be a contest called the Postathon. The grand prize total includes $100.00 worth in prize and cash. So don't miss your chance to participate in that!
There's also a not-yet-announced Halloween activity starting this weekend! We wanted it to be a surprise but I'm just really excited how everything is coming along. One of the activities includes finding hidden candy around the forum. Members are eligible to win unique gifts as well, along with other fun prizes. WOOT I removed all the malicious iframes that were inserted into all of the index pages. The site is safe now, I promise. Now I'm just waiting on Google to review it.
FanUpdate was being stupid and I wasn't able to customize it the way I want to. So until I'm able to do that, or until someone volunteers to make me a Wordpress theme.... I'll be using this for the time being.
I have required registration for comments. It is so that I don't get all of that spam. So please register if you'd like to leave comments. It literally takes like 5 seconds to do it. I know it's a pain-in-the-arse but I really had no other choice.
So umm yeah I have a ton of resources to post. Once Google un-blacklists my site I'll be redoing all of my links to point to LIGHTS because that's the only place you'll be able to download resources from then on.
