FAUXISM.org is a multi-purpose domain for my graphics portfolio, resources, tutorials, and my blog. My blogs are not the typical day-to-day personal accounts. Instead, I discuss various issues and ideas that visitors can easily relate to such as school, work, relationships, health, fitness, fashion, beauty, and entertainment; the list is endless! I write articles on popular subjects, and give reviews on web sites, products, and other tid bits. Once in a while you may catch me dedicating a LULZY article about some idiot on the web. My goal is to bring back the art of blogging like it used to be 2-3 years ago. But I also strive to provide HIGH QUALITY resources for those graphically inspired. Whatever your muse is, I hope you enjoy my little neck of the woods and bookmark the site for future visits.

The number one question that people usually ask is: “How did you come up with the name?” Honestly, I’m not even sure I can answer that clearly. For a couple of years my online alias has been exposé, I usually always use it on forums unless special characters are forbidden, or the name is taken. However, I couldn’t have exposé.com as a domain name. At the time, I was hooked on words beginning with ex-. But I had my heart on one-word domain that was short, but unique at the same time. I have this LONG list of random words that I like and came across the word “faux”. After some thinking, I came up with two possible names: expogenic and fauxism. If you knew personally knew me, you would know it’s impossible for me choose between two things that I like. So I ended up posting a poll across several forums. The votes were split pretty much half and half. One forum liked expogenic, another forum liked fauxism, etc. I’m not sure what compelled me to finally decide to use fauxism. But I took that jump and there was no turning back. After I had bought the domain I hated myself for a couple of days. HAHA! But now it’s really growing on me. So yup, that’s the epic story behind the domain name. Not so epic eh?
